When moving to a new city it’s great to know what type of businesses are around and one of the most favorite type of business in all areas is: Restaurants. Knowing where to eat is one of the keys in a new town. Whether you’re celebrating a great deal on a home, or finishing moving in and don’t feel like cooking — you’ll want to know the best places to eat in Brigham City.
Maddox Ranch House is actually just south of Brigham City (less than a mile south) in a town called Perry. If you’re in Brigham City and head south on Main Street you’ll end up in Perry and it will be on the west side of the road. The Maddox Ranch House is famous STATE wide for their amazing steaks, wonderful fried chicken, homemade sarsaparilla and cream soda, and many more delectable items on the menu.
Idle Isle Cafe is on Main Street and a little south of Forest Street and it’s old style cafe feel gives the great backdrop to a great night out! Idle Isle features home style cooking at it’s finest with old fashioned ice cream and their sister store of Idle Isle Candies. Idle Isle is great for stopping and getting a Chocolate Banana Old Fashioned Malt or a delicious plate of mashed potatoes, greens and pot roast.
Peach City and Cal’s Drive In are two of Brigham City’s best fast food places. They’re drive ins (although they both have eating areas if you’d like to get out). Cal’s Drive In is located on Highway 89 just into Perry by Maddox Ranch House. It is famous for it’s amazing home made root beer and terrific burgers. Peach City is the place to go for shakes! Toward the end of August and beginning of September they have famous Peach Shakes in honor of Peach Days (the town’s yearly celebration). Peach City is also famous for their fries.
J&D’s and Bert’s Cafe are both on Main Street and they’re the best in town for breakfast food. They both have that diner feel with great home style cooking. Both of these would beat Denny’s and Village Inn for a great breakfast.
Brigham City also is home to great restaurants such as Hunan Village which is the best Chinese food around, and Ricardo’s Mexican Food. Hunan Village is located on Highway 89 next to Hanson Motors and Ricardo’s is located by Smith’s Food on Main Street.
